The dunk contest has been missing something in recent years--dunks. It has become about the show someone can put on and the props they can use and not so much how they well they can deliver the ball in to the hoop. Saturday night in this year's edition of the slam dunk contest that was not the case at all. Mason Plumlee had a good one in the prelims, but the stars of the show were easily
Victor Oladipo and Zach LaVine.
In the end the winner was LaVine, but the real winner was the fans. Their prize? One heck of a show!
