Cleveland Browns Still On the Hunt For Another Quarterback

Fans of the Cleveland Browns had hoped for one of two things last season; that either Brian Hoyer or Johnny Manziel would prove that one of them is the quarterback of the future for the beleaguered franchise. Hoyer is now in Houston, Manziel in rehab, and now the team has signed Josh McCown, a guy that went 1-10 last season.

So--yeah, it would not be a bad idea for the Browns to try and find a quarterback they can believe in if possible.

Rumor has it that they might have tried to do just that by offering the Philadelphia Eagles a first round pick for Sam Bradford. With two first round picks it is not surprising that the Browns are using one as a bargaining chip, but they don't have one that Chip Kelly wants.

Kelly has said that the team is planning on going forward with Bradford next season, but not too many people seem to believe him. Even though he has told reporters that he has no interest in making some crazy deal that will allow him to draft his former Oregon quarterback many believe he is still going to do just that.

Tennessee has the No. 2 pick in the draft and is not expected to take Mariota. The Eagles currently hold the No. 20 pick while the Browns have the No. 12 and 19.

Maybe if they were to package their own pick along with one from the Browns the Titans would go for it, but for now it appears that no deal is going to be made.
