Indianapolis Colts Linebacker Erik Walden Victim in Domestic Violence Incident

Normally when we hear a story about an NFL player being involved in a domestic violence incident, but that is not the case with Erik Walden. The Indianapolis Colts linebacker had his house broken in to three times by an ex-girlfriend who has been accused of stabbing him and attacking his current girlfriend with a baseball bat.

The woman, Erika Palmer, was sitting in Walden's home with a baseball bat and knife when he and his current girlfriend came home Saturday. She attacked him, but ended up running off in to the woods before the police arrived. When they left she came back and confronted him again, cutting him with the knife this time.

She disappeared before the police could get back to the house. Authorities later tracked her down at a Gwinnett County hotel where they arrested her on 13 charges.
