Jameis Winston Has Deleted His Twitter Account

Twitter can be a great yet dangerous thing for a young, soon to be professional football player like former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston. It is a great way to connect with the fans, but it is also a great way to stick your virtual foot in your mouth and get in trouble (right Johnny Manziel?).

Winston's maturity issues have rarely been about his online activity, but it appears that he has decided to go ahead and delete his account.

He has not said why he decided to go ahead and delete his account, but that does not stop people from speculating of course.

Many are thinking that it is in order to prove to Tampa Bay that he is taking his draft preparation seriously. Others are speculating that it is in advance of a personal rebrand and that his new handle will likely be @famousjameis or something like that.

Since online activity has not been a problem for him it is more likely that he will come back with a derivation of Famous Jameis or something in connection with the team that drafts him.
