Ohio State Head Coach Urban Meyer Struggling With Picking a Starting Quarterback

Urban Meyer is in a position a lot of coaches wish they could be in. Yes, being the defending national champs can be tough with all the pressure to repeat and with everyone gunning for you, but that is not the position most coaches would like to be in at this time of year. He has too many starting quarterbacks. All three have proven to be capable starters, but he can only start one.

And trying to figure out which one is starting to get to him.

Most assumed that Braxton Miller would transfer even though he said he wasn't going anywhere, but it appears that he is going to be staying put. J.T. Barrett was a potential Heisman candidate before an injury ended his season. Cardale Jones stepped in and won the conference championship, the Sugar Bowl, and the national championship.

From their resumes it would appear he can't go wrong, but as soon as the Buckeyes lose a game or barely beat someone everyone will question the call.

One thing we do know is that Meyer is not thinking about going with a two-quarterback system:

As agonizing as the decision will be it is one that has to be made eventually. Will it be easy? Can it get easier? Probably not unless someone get hurt, but there is a reason why Meyer makes the big bucks.
