Philadelphia Eagles Fans Trying to Crowd Fund a Billboard in Indianapolis Thanking Frank Gore

When Frank Gore backed out of the deal he had tentatively agreed to with the Philadelphia Eagles fans were not happy with him. Deals discussed prior to free agency mean nothing so he was well within his rights to back out of the deal. He ended up signing with Indianapolis instead and the Eagles were able to steal the starting running back, DeMarco Murray, from their division rival.

Needless to say Philly fans are pretty happy about it and some would like to take out a billboard in Indianapolis to say thank you to Gore.

What they want to get in Indianapolis is nothing crazy or elaborate; just a simple message of thanks:

via Kickstarter
Not wanting to take all the glory for themselves, the fans who came up with this brilliant idea are trying to crowd fund the cost to get the billboard through Kickstarter. They have set the project goal at $5000.

The project has till April 16 to get fully funded, and so far it doesn't look good. After eight days they have yet to raise a penny.

They could probably just send him a tweet if they really want to thank him.  Might be a lot easier and a lot less expensive.
