The Florida Gators are not going to be headed to the Big Dance this season, but there is still the NIT. Not the same of course, but it is a chance to keep playing and win something and that's a lot better than sitting at home and watching everyone else play. So the Gators are doing what they can to get their game on track as the season winds down.
Alex Murphy certainly did his best to help the team put one in the win column.
Tuesday night they had a tough one on hand with Texas A&M in town, but even though they led by 14 with two minutes left. The Aggies closed the gap to 65-62 with 6 seconds to play, but a free throw by Kasey Hill put the game out of reach.
Final Score: 66-62, Florida.
