Dallas PD Suspending Aggravated Assault Case Against Aqib Talib

A couple weeks ago Denver Broncos defensive back Aqib Talib and his brother become persons of interest in an aggravated assault case stemming from an incident at a Dallas nightclub. It was the last thing the Broncos wanted to hear about their star defender who has had his share of off-field issues in the past.

Well--it appears that he is going to be in the clear as far as this incident is concerned, but not necessarily because he is innocent.

The Dallas Police can't find proof that he did anything wrong:

It may not be justice, but it does mean that the Broncos and Talib have dodged a bullet. That is, unless Goodell decided punishment is necessary for the appearance of impropriety. It sounds ridiculous, but it would not be shocking.
