New Texas MBB Coach Shaka Smart Has a Message for Former Longhorns Players [VIDEO]

Unlike their search for a new football coach, the University of Texas wasted no time in finding a new leader for the men's basketball team by snatching Shake Smart away from VCU. Smart wasted little time living up to his name by posting a video to YouTube Saturday morning to any and all former Texas basketball players.

By inviting them to be around the program as much as they want he does two things. He provides the current players with good role models and a veteran presence and he gets in good with the program's most influential alumni.
