Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown Not Holding Out; Just Being a Good Dad

Earlier this week the Pittsburgh Steelers kicked off their off-season program, but had one very important player absent--wide receiver Antonio Brown. Media types, bloggers, and fans immediately assumed that the man was holding out for a bigger contract. After the way he dominated last season it was understandable.

As it turns out, all the speculation was 100 percent incorrect.

He wasn't holding out. He was busy being a good dad and spending time with his new little one:
"Just enjoying my new born Ali can not wait to get back with my teammates! I am dad first and working to be best player I can be," he said.
If there was ever a good excuse for missing out on workouts this would be it. In a league where players are known more for playing the field (on and off of the gridiron) than anything else it is nice to hear about a player with his priorities straight.
