WATCH: Chad Mendes Rains Down Some Serious Blows on Ricardo Lamas

This is one of those rare occasions where the ref deserves some credit for letting these guys fight on. Having covered quite a few UFC events over the last few months it would not have surprised me to see the ref call it after the first time Lamas went down and Mendes started raining blows down upon him. Instead he let it go and Lamas nearly made an admirable recovery--but he didn't. First round TKO for Mendes.
