49ers WR Torrey Smith on the New England Patriots and Deflate Gate: Water is Wet

The long awaited Wells Report on the whole Deflate Gate scandal finally came out and from the look of things it appears that Tom Brady may have been a very bad boy (and yes, the Patriots cheated again). This did not come as a surprise to many players and fans, and some took to social media to express their opinion of the news.

Among those was new San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Torrey Smith.

After he learned of the news he sent this tweet out in to the virtual world:

He followed that up quickly with another one:

Back to being serious 1. I'm not surprised 2. They still won and a deflated football doesn't help that much 3. It's all about integrity

He's got a very good point. In the end the amount of air in the balls had no real effect on the game with the Colts. Strangely, a lot like how taping the Jets signals back in the day didn't help either.

So yeah, Torrey. It is all about integrity.
