Dallas Baptist Used a Helicopter to Dry Out Field Prior to NCAA Tournament Action [VIDEO]

When folks at Dallas Baptist University woke up Friday morning they soon realized they had a problem on their hands--the baseball field was more like marshland than a place a baseball game could realistically be held on. So with regional action set to start Friday evening they had to do something in order to get the field playable.

So they had a helicopter hover over the field in hopes of drying it out.

Field crews also had leaf blowers out in hopes of speeding up the process. Whatever they did must have worked well enough since the games were played. Dallas Baptist ended up losing to VCU 7-2 and Texas lost to Oregon State 5-4.
