So when there is talk of a team or player being cursed as ridiculous as it sounds folks pay attention. After all the talk about rapper Lil 'B possibly putting a curse on James Harden the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks decided to do a little Twitter sucking up to make sure they remain curse free.

Prior to their game against the Cleveland Cavaliets the Hawks tweeted their own plea to the Based God:
Dear @LILBTHEBASEDGOD: We're not like the others. Please show mercy and spare us #THEBASEDGODSCURSE. 🙏 Sincerely, The Hawks

After the way the team played they might have been better off asking if he'd curse the Cavaliers (or at least LeBron James) instead.
All this attention stemmed from a couple tweets Lil 'B sent out the day before concerning James Harden:
Go warriors @warriors and let James harden no he doing the Lil B cooking dance if he doing that flickin wrist or whipping he mark - Lil B

People that steal from Lil B will pay now or later all you have to do is pay respect to the original and the leader blind ones will - Lil B

In reply to the Hawks tweet Lil 'B sent out this:
@ATLHawks I got love for the Hawks and Jeff Teague is a beast!! Hawks deserve great things and the city of Atlanta!!! - Lil B

Just to make sure there wasn't any confusion he made sure to say that Harden had not been cursed like Kevin Durant (even though it looked like he had been on that last possession).
And please remember James harden has not been cursed like Kevin durant james was warned. Just waiting for harden to speak on dance - Lil B
