Heading in to the Big 12 Tournament the Texas baseball team had a tall order ahead of it. To make the NCAA tournament they had to win the Big 12 one.

After an okay regular season the Texas Longhorns were looking at the Big 12 tournament as if it was likely going to be the end of the season for them. That is, unless they could defy the odds and win the tournament therefore make the NCAA one as the Big 12 tournament champs. Well—they did more than defy the odds.
They crushed them. Not only did they win the Big 12 Tournament, but they did so in a way that had never been done before—with completes games in the three games leading up to the title game....
