How Happy Would Tom Brady Have Been to Get Brandon Marshall?

Brandon Marshall will go down in history s a very good wide receiver; one of the better ones in his era. It's a shame that he has never been able to play with a really good quarterback. In Denver he was stuck with Jay Cutler. In Miami he had a collection of guys since the Dolphins couldn't keep anyone healthy in Chad Pennington, Chad Henne, Pat White, and Tyler Thigpen. In Chicago he was reunited with Cutler.

While Cutler has been capable of  great things he is unreliable as they come. Now that he is in New York his string of bad quarterbacks is only going to continue.

In a recent radio interview Marshall mentioned that his string of bad luck almost ended with a trade to the New England Patriots prior to the start of last season.

Tom Brady has managed to be pretty darn good without having many weapons surrounding him (more role players than anything else; okay, that Edelman guy isn't half bad). Could you imagine the Patriots offense with a wide receiver like Marshall?

Sometime next week New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is going to get some news that is not going to make him a very happy guy. I'm talking about the suspension for his perceived role in the whole Deflate Gate fiasco. Had the Patriots managed to complete a trade for a wide receiver like Brandon Marshll he would have likely reacted a lot like this:
