While appealing a 10-game suspension for his domestic violence case he thought it was a good idea to get in to it with a teammate that called him a "wife-beater." That pales in comparison to what he tweeted during the draft.

Hardy tweeted an apology, but its one that I think is kind of poor since he added the bit about his "real fans" as if he was trying to say people should have known he meant nothing by it. Of course he didn't mean anything by it. He just doesn't have enough horse sense not to do it in the first place.
Ill say this I apologize 4a comment that mentioned an event where no reference 2humor is ever ok but I hope my real fans know I would never

Dallas is already going to lose him for a good chunk of the season, but in order to send Hardy and the fans the right message they may want to make sure they do more than just slap him on the wrist.
