Jameis Winston Files Ill-Advised Defamation Suit Against Sexual Assault Accuser

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can't be very happy with Jameis Winston after his latest move. If they wanted him to take down a picture of him with crab legs from his Instagram account there is no way they are going to be happy about his latest move.

He has filed a defamation suit against the woman that has accused him of sexual assault.

His logic is understandable. Many football fans are not fans of his because of the sexual assault case that he has been dealing with since last season (he has now been hit with a civil suit after being cleared of any criminal wrongdoing). Whether he did it or not it is pretty clear that he did exercise some very poor judgement, and that alone is enough for many fans to hate him.

Since his reputation off the field is in taters making him as good as kryptonite when it comes to product endorsements he has decided to sue his accuser, Erica Kinsman.

All this is going to do is give fans another reason to rehash ever bad thing he has done or been accused of doing bringing a down pour of negativity on Tampa Bay's future starting quarterback and the team by default.

According to Twitter lawyers he could open himself up to even more trouble:

Yes, his earning potential has been affected and that sucks, but he just got paid a whole lot of money so it is not like he or his family are in need right not. If he is smart (or if the team is and they make him) he will drop the suit and just play football.

If he wants endorsements he just has to be the superstar he was drafted to be.
