One of the things the latest collective bargaining agreement did was severely limit the amount of contact players engage in during things like OTAs, training camp, and in-season practices. For some guys this is easy and doesn't matter. Wide receivers can work on routes and catching and defensive backs can work on coverage without having to hit.

For linemen though, it is a little harder. Gabe Wright is going to have to make some contact in order to beat this block.

Ziggy Ansah didn't look half bad working on sniffing out some misdirection either.

The offensive line at least got to hit the blocking pads. It's not the same as hitting another player, but until the pads come on it will have to do.
