When the Texas Rangers acquired Josh Hamilton from the Los Angeles Angels the general perception was "What the **** are they doing?" When the financial end of the deal was announced it made a lot more sense. Should he remember how to hit again he could be a great addition to the team; one that someone else is going to be paying for (thank you Angels). So it went from WTF to why not.
A couple of hits Thursday night brought cheers from the fans, but the reception was nothing compared to the fans reaction when he hit not one but two home runs in Friday night's 7-4 win over Boston.

The first one came in the second inning and gave the team a 1-0 lead (
