On the field Wednesday night during the Rangers-Astros game it was all about the Texas Rangers who easily won 11-3. The most memorable play, however, did not occur on the field but in the stands by one of the young Astros fans in attendance. After catching an Adrian Beltre foul ball the young man opted to hand it to a much younger fan rather than keep it for himself.
Had he kept it no one would have faulted him for it. He is at the age where it is cool to get a foul ball at an MLB game and keep it. Looks like he saw the bigger picture and fans around him let him know--it's even cooler to make a little kid's day.
