If you have ever wondered why good pitchers are as valued as they are take a look at this pitch by Pittsburgh Pirates starter Gerrit Cole. If it was easy to get a ball to do what he does here while still throwing it incredibly hard (98 miles per hour) than maybe--just maybe--pitchers would not make as much as they do.

But it is not. So they do (and they deserve it).
