WATCH: Virginia's Ernie Clement With the Web Gem of a Catch in the 8th

Down 5-0 in the bottom of the 8th inning of Game One of the College World Series finals Virginia needed some big plays to keep the game from getting pushed out of reach. Making up five runs was going to be hard enough, but not impossible. So when second baseman Ernie Clement made this diving catch to save a base hit it was perfect timing.

Alas, it was not enough. Vanderbilt went on to win the game 5-1.
