Eight Months Later Zach Mettenberger Fires Back at J.J. Watt; Calls Him High-Schoolish

About eight months during the 2014 NFL season there was a short lived, but entertaining little controversy between Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt and Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger. Watt thought it was childish and unprofessional that Mettenberger liked to post selfies as much as he did.

So he said as much in an interview and then mocked Mettenberger by 'taking a selfie' after sacking him. Eight months later Mettenberger decides to fire back and call Watt the 'high-schoolish' one.

In an interview with CampusSports.net Mettenberger had this to say:
"J.J. had to say it’s a bit high schoolish that I take selfies, and I think he still rags me on Instagram every time he posts a selfie,” Mettenberger said, via Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com. “At the same time, if that’s high schoolish, he got a letterman jacket made — a Texans letterman jacket.
“That’s pretty high schoolish to me, don’t you say?”
Can anyone say shots fired? It will be interesting to see if Watt bothers to reply.

If he does he might ask why Mettenberger waited so long to fire back or he might just wait till the two teams meet during the season so he can whack Mettenberger around again like he did last season.

That is, if Mettenberger even plays since Marcus Marriota will likely be the starter.
