Florida State Dismisses QB De'Andre Johnson From Football Team After Video of Him Punching Woman is Released [VIDEO]

With Jameis Winston gone and Everett Golson only having one year of eligibility it had to be good to be a young quarterback at Florida State. You had time to learn thee system without being thrown in to the fire, and next season you would be the man on a team the whole nation would be watching.

That would have been the life of freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson, but not any longer. He has been dismissed for punching a woman at a local bar late last month.

You can't blame Florida State at all. After going through what they did with Jameis Winston and all his off-field crap they certainly do not want to have to deal with that again if they can avoid it. Maybe they could make a case since he tried to keep her from hitting him at first, but the obvious argument is that he should have just walked away.

He didn't need to shove his way to the bar, and when she objected to him doing so he should have walked away then. After she threatened him he should have left. After he had to restrain her he had another opportunity to leave--but he didn't.

Hopefully one of these days football players will start to listen and learn from their predecessors mistakes. Walk away when they get bitchy guys. Just walk away.
