San Antonio Spurs Fan 'Jesus' Helps Cops Apprehend Thief

If you have watched the San Antonio Spurs play at home there is a good chance that you have seen a guy dressed up like Jesus Christ. It's not unusual for fans to dress up in costumes of some kind when they go to games. Dressing up as Jesus Christ may seem like an odd choice, but it seems to work for this guy.

Maybe the man upstairs was watching over him when his house was being robbed recently, and gave him the power to stop him--because he did.

Spurs Jesus (in plan clothes; not his Jesus robes) caught a would-be-thief trying to break in to his home. When the thief saw him watching he ran. Spurs Jesus gave chase, and caught up with him enough to shove him to the ground.

The thief thought he could get away by swimming to the other side of the River Walk. There was just one problem with his plan. When he got to the other side he realized he had left his bike on the other side (which Spurs Jesus now had).

For some stupid reason the thief thought Spurs Jesus was going to just give him his  bike back, walked across a nearby bridge to meet up with him. In the meantime, Spurs Jesus had the cops on the phone and told them he would restrain the thief till they got there.

This is where it gets really stupid.

The thief got loose from Spurs Jesus when the cops arrived and thought he could hop back in the river to escape. He tried to hide in some tall reeds, but shockingly it didn't work. he was apprehended and arrested.

So not only do you not mess with Texas, but you don't mess with Spurs Jesus either!
