New Orleans Saints WR Brandon Coleman Apologizes To Fans For Signing Autographs As Marques Colston

Brandon Coleman was on the practice squad for the New Orleans Saints last season, but word out of training camp is that he has a solid chance of making the final roster and playing on Sundays. Marques Colston has been in New Orleans for about a decade now.

You would think that fans at training camp would know the difference between the two, but apparently that is not the case.

Coleman's play has been drawing all sorts of comparisons during training camp to Colston, but that is where the similarities end. However, it appears that there were some fans that were duped by Coleman after a recent practice.

He pulled on Colston's jersey and helmet and signed some autographs  as Colston. They weigh the same, but Coleman is two inches taller. That being said, unless they got close enough to stare at his face they wouldn't have known.

Coleman apologized for the prank on Twitter Tuesday:

I want to apologize to the fans that were at Sunday's practice for the prank I pulled after practice pretending to b Colston signing my name
