Houston Astros Ride Six Home Runs To Much Needed Win Over Texas [VIDEO]

For much of the season the Houston Astros have been on top of the division. However, thanks to a recent slump the team is now 3.5 games behind the Texas Rangers for first in the division with the Los Angeles Angels nipping at their heals for the last wlld card spot.So--yeah, you could say they were in need of a win Saturday when they played the Rangers.

Thanks to a nice team power display provided by Carlos Correa (two home runs; tied with Lance Berkman for most by an Astros rookie, 21) Jose Altuve had two, Colby Rasmus had one, as did Chris Carter (see below):

Houston wet on to win 9-7 and move to 3.5 games behind the Rangers with only a handful of games left to play.
