Notre Dame defensive back Drue Tranquill made a great play towards the end of the first half to keep Georgia Tech from getting into the end zone. Afterwards he celebrated--because that is what you do when you make big plays. There was just one problem. Somewhere along the way he had seriously jacked up his knee.
So after celbrating with a teammate he crumbled to the ground in serious pain. He was evaluated in the locker room during half time and returned to the sideline on crutches.
