Syracuse QB Eric Dungey Knocked Out Of Game After Taking Cheap Shot From Central Michigan DL Mitch Stanitzek

Coaches always tell players that they are only one play away from going in. Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey learned that when he was called in to service when the team lost its starting quarterback earlier this season. Saturday against Central Michigan his back-up learned that when Dungey was knocked out of the game after taking a low blow from one Central Michigan player and a helmet to helmet hit from another.

He left the game with what was later called an upper body injury.
