TCU Learns The Hard Way Play To The Whistle--Not Till You Knock Someone Down!

Play till you hear the whistle--not till you knock someone down! It is one of the first things you learn when you start playing football as a kid. Once the whistle blows you stop because if you don't its a penalty. Somehow the TCU defense forgot that for a moment in the third quarter Saturday against Texas Tech.

You can try and say something about momentum, but those guys had time to stop before taking him to the ground.


The penalty ended up costing them when Texas Tech RB DeAndre Washington scored his third touchdown of the day a few plays later:
