Last season TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin became one of the most exciting players in college football. He became part of Heisman conversations, and is considered the early front runner for the award this season. Thursday night he began his campaign against a tough opponent, the Minnesota Golden Gophers. It was pretty all the time, but in the end he did prevail leading his team to a 23-17 win.
