The Tennessee Volunteers are in a position they are not accustomed to. They are starting the season ranked and with expectations. They are supposed to be good this season; not great, but being considered good is better than what they have been in recent years.

Bowling Green isn't exactly tough competition, but after a half of play the Volunteers do have a 35-20 lead. With guys making moves like the one Alvin Kamara puts on the poor Bowling Green defense (see below) the Vols may very well be in good shape this season:
