With a 10-6 lead after seven innings the Texas Rangers were probably feeling pretty good. Not great because a four run lead is not hard to overcome in baseball--which the Rangers learned the hard way in the ninth when the Angels scored five to take a 11-10 lead. What makes it really sting for the Rangers is that three of the runs came with two outs.
Elvis Andrus hit a single with two outs to at least give the Rangers a base runner in the final inning, but when he tried to steal second to get into scoring position he was thrown out.
