Athletes love to celebrate big plays, and that is okay. It helps entertain the fans when they do and it gives them a chance to show a little personality. Fans have even come to expect it from guys after certain plays: touchdowns, big first downs, tackles for a loss, huge receptions, and of course sacks.
There are some cases when a celebration should be mandatory--like when you make your first NFL sack like Ravens rookie linebacker Za'Darius Smith did Thursday night on Michael Vick.
