Whenever a player runs into the pile and doesn't come out it is not uncommon for a ref to blow the play dead because he thinks the running back isn't going anywhere and his momentum is stopped. Well--it sure was a good thing that no one blew this play dead in Thursday night's Miami-Cincinnati game.
