Color Blind Fans Had A Little Trouble Watching Thursday Night's Jets-Bills Game

When the 'color rush' uniforms were designed the idea was probably to give teams somethin that was a little different, but also something that would pop on television and look great. For the most part (so far) they have done just that.

However. it appears that there was a pretty significant segment of the population that had a little trouble watching the game--color blind folks.

Former New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes--who is color blind--sent this tweet during the game:

The National Eye Institute estimates that up to eight percent of men and .5 percent of women of Northern European descent are color blind. As many as 10 million Americans suffer from the condition.

Red-Green blindness is fairly common so the uniforms the two teams were wearing Thursday night combined with the green turf made watching the game a little frustrating and difficult..
