Nelson Spruce Ties Colorado Career Touchdown Reception Record [VIDEO]

Going into Friday night's game against USC, the Colorado Buffaloes needed to win two of their last three in order to become bowl eligible. While they did have a 17-3 lead at one point, Cody Kessler got the Trojan offense together and scored 24 unanswered points to take a 27-17 lead.

Colorado would a late touchdown to make it look good, but lost in the end 27-24, but from the loss something good did come.

When Nelson Spruce pulled in a nine-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to give Colorado a 14-3 lead he tied former wide receiver Scotty McKnight's mark for career touchdowns with 22.
