Packers Fan Calls Police On Cam Newton After Cam Tore Down His Sign And Walked Off With It

Saturday night Ole Miss fans tried calling the police on Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen, but not because he broke the law. He was just killing the home team. Crazy, right? Only in college football, right? Wrong.

Sunday afternoon a Packers fan called the police on Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, but not because he was killing the Packers. Cam stole his sign.

The whole mess went down during pregame Sunday in Charlotte. Mike Dobs had some nice seats in the corner of one of the end zones, and like many fans brought a sign to show his support and allegiance. There was just one problem--he was a fan of the visiting team.

It is his right to support who he wants, but Cam Newton didn't see it that way. He felt like it was disrespectful and even stated after the game made this analogy as support for his actions:

Mr. Dobs didn't see it that way. The sign was something he hung up at his home and he had spent some serious money on it ($500). So when Newton walks up, tears it down, and then tucked it under his arm and walked into the locker room:

Dobs alerted stadium police to the theft and complained to Panthers management about it. Word is the team is going to make it up to him, but how has not been made public.
