Peyton Manning Denied Two Records By Former Team; Broncos No Longer Undefeated

There are probably a lot of Colts fans out there right now talking about how they never lost their faith in the the team, and they would all be lying. Leading up to Sunday's game against Denver the talk was not how they could win, but how much they would lose by. Peyton Manning was going to set the all-time wins record by a quarterback and take over the career passing yards mark, both owned by Brett Favre.

Instead, the good times that started in the fourth quarter against Carolina held over to this week.

It wasn't perfect, but the Colts played efficient ball on offense, and probably their best game of the season on defense. They held Denver to less than a 100 yards of offense in the first half. Manning and the Broncos woke up some in the second half, but not enough as the Colts went on to win 27-24.

As for the records, with the loss Manning remains tied with Favre for the wins mark, and he fell short of the passing yards mark by three yards.

Well done Colts. Well done indeed.
