Tony Romo Playing A Little Scout Team During Practice Thursday

The Dallas Cowboys actually have a very slim chance of making the post season, but they will need to beat the Buccaneers this weekend and then win the majority of their remaining games once Tony Romo comes back next week to have a chance.

Romo has been throwing lately in practice as he prepares to come back, and it appears that he has been doing something he probably hasn't done since his freshman year inn college--play the scout team.

He wasn't trying to emulate Jamies Winston--who the team will play this Sunday--but was just trying to play again.
"I thought it was pretty funny seeing him out there," tight end Jason Witten said. "And he was in rare form, as he always is. He's such a competitor in moving guys around, adjusting the routes and the protection. Just good to see him back out there.
As for whether Romo was trying to be Winston:
"I think Romo's always going to be Romo," Witten said. "I don't think he's going to imitate anybody."

If he could imitate a healthy quarterback fans probably would not mind.
