Cal had a hard time against Oregon, but midway through the fourth quarter down by three scores they finally caught a lucky break to help them get back in the game. Cal quarterback Jared Goff tried to hit wide receiver Bryce Treggs deep, but slightly under threw him. However, thanks to the nice Oregon defensive back that tipped the ball up Treggs was able to make the catch and run the rest of the way to the end zone.
The score closed the gap to 13, but Cal was not able to mount another successful drive. Oregon went on to win 44-28.
