WATCH: Dallas Cowboys RB Darren McFadden Lays Out Eagles Defender With Solid Block

A god running back is going to be able to do much more than just run. He needs to be able to sell the run on play action, pass block for his quarterback, catch the ball, and pick up blocks downfield for his teammates when he can. Darren McFadden has been proving lately that he can run, and from time to time if you pay close attention you can see him doing the other things too.

He certainly did a good job of picking up a block downfield for Cole Beasley on this play:
