Normally I like to write my reviews right after the game when everything is fresh in my mind and it is much easier to reference things that went on during the game. After the performance that the team turned in yesterday I needed some time to process this one before I could write anything.
It would have been easy just to bang out something about how poorly the team played, but I don't want to ever just bash the team--deserved or not. Nothing is required of a writer other than some basic knowledge of the English language to do that.
I opted to wait a day, watch some more NFL action (what the heck Texans?!?), and then give it a go in the morning...
