Inspiration Thy Name is Johnny Manziel

I think that it is pretty easy to say that the Aggie Nation and college football world has been taken by storm by a young quarterback from small-town Texas. Johnny Football, as he is now known among fans of the Texas A&M Aggies was just another player on what was thought to be a mediocre team six months ago. Now the 19-year old is the leader of one of the best teams in the nation and the favorite to win the Heisman trophy on December 8.

When you have a meteoric rise like Johnny Manziel has had there is bound to be a lot of hype. People are going to talk. Folks will start to ponder all sorts of things like how well the team will do next year, is a national title a distinct possibility, how good will recruiting be going forward, can we hold onto Coach Sumlin, will Johnny enter the draft as a junior...the list could go on and on and on. 

We're talking about football in the state of Texas; folks are more than happy to talk football!

Now that the world has been able to hear Johnny Manziel speak fans will only become more enamored with him. His play alone has proven to be a source of inspiration for many. Can you imagine what's going to happen now that he's started to talk to the media?

It will be interesting to see what happens going forward, but there have already been some that have found inspiration in young Johnny Football. Thanks to the world wide web and wonderful creations like YouTube many have been able to share the product of their inspiration-- in song!
