I feel where Kobe Bryant is coming from when he tells his team that he is going to start kicking some butts if they don't get it together. I can understand that he'd tell one of the other supposed stars (Pau Gasol) that he needs to "put on his big boy pants."
A player of Kobe's caliber that is playing with the hopes of winning one more championship before he hangs it up does not want to waste his time--not to mention one of his few remaining seasons--on a team with the most under-performing stars on it this side of the Dallas Cowboys.
That being said, he'll have to be prepared for anyone and everyone to use his words against the team when they fail.
