I have this theory. There are certain days where Man should not think twice about what he eats: his birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Oktoberfest, the Final Four, BCS Championship/Bowl game where your team is playing, and of course the Super Bowl.
It is a widely known fact that most of the U.S. agrees with me on the Super Bowl. I can't recall what the actual numbers are, but the amount of food consumed--and primarily junk food--over Super Bowl Sunday is incredible.
What would the Super Bowl be without chips and dip, nacho cheese, cheese puffs, hot wings, and whatever ever else your heart desires? After all--it is the last football game of the season!
However, this year those numbers could be a little down in one category--wings. Thanks to rising costs i just about everything the supply of wings is not as great as it usually is. The smart guy in the video above tries to say there is no shortage, but a tight supply.
Come on! Please! And Mark Sanchez just needs a little more time to develop.
News of this possibility appears to have inspired a pair of criminals in the ATL who thought they would take advantage of the shortage by taking control of the supply. Apparently these two budding entrepreneurs happened to work at a frozen food distribution center outside of Atlanta.
One day they brought their own rental truck to work, loaded up about 10 pallets of wings, and left. Their bosses noticed and about a week later the two were arrested at their homes. The wing-nabbers were later released on bond.
Word is that the authorities have no clue what happened to the $65,000 in wings.
Criminals? or are the the hot wing Robin Hoods of Atlanta?
