The Actual Woman in the Manti Te'o Hoax

The focus has been on Manti Te'o in the whole girlfriend hoax deal, but there has been another victim this whole time. What about the young woman that was in the picture? The woman that Manti thought he had a relationship with?

Turns out that her name is Diane O'Meara. She is 23 and a marketing coordinator in Torrance, California. Apparently the good pastor Ronaiah Tuiasosopo (total sarcasm there) randomly chose her off of Facebook.

This woman is hot. I can see why Manti would want to believe that this thing was real. I can't believe that he would not figure out a way to get a face to face. At the same time, when they had meets planned and she didn't show why did he stick around?

It does not matter how how a woman is. If she pulls a no-show on you she is not worth your time. I can see giving a second chance if she gives you a good excuse, but after three years I imagine there were more than a few occasions that Lennay stood him up.

Is the man one of the fiercest and most confident players on the gridiron, but off the field a neurotic mess? Does he have absolutely zero game?

The answer there appears to be no. Within a couple months of Lennay's death a young lady that attends St. Mary's, an all-girl school near Notre Dame, tweeted pics like this giving the appearance that the two have a relationship.
