If the prospect of them making millions and living the easy life once they made it into the pros was not enough to help them with the ladies--in case their winning personalities were not enough (and I guess their good looks; or so I'm told)--the life that Katherine Webb is now living should.
We all remember what went on with Ms. Webb, right? The girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron was spotted in the stands early in the BCS title game by Musburger who went on to say how beautiful he thought she was and how the QBs get all the girls.
His comments went viral, he ended up getting chastised by the network for being inappropriate, and ESPN ended up apologizing for him.
Within hours Webb, who happens to be Miss Alabama, went from having a couple thousand Twitter followers to a couple hundred thousand!Fast forward a couple weeks and she is at the Super Bowl working for Inside Edition, is set to appear on the reality show "Splash" (a diving competition), has been rumored to be a possible contestant on Dancing With the Stars, she's going to be in the next SI swimsuit issue, and I believe the Donald has engaged her to be a judge or the next Miss USA Pageant.
And it all started because Brent Musburger eyeballed her in the stands at a very dull BCS title game.
Heck, if I thought Brent might think I was cute I'd hit on a QB; then again, I'm a loyal Texas A&M fan, Johnny Manziel already has a babe/model GF, and my wife might take issue with that.
Oh well!
