Wouldn't it be crazy if everyone had to open their press conferences by singing the National Anthem?
Beyonce felt the need to do so, possibly to prove she could after she was busted lip syncing when she was singing the National Anthem as part of the ceremony for President Obama's inauguration. She rocked it of course...but I still don't buy the excuse.
She claims that she was unable to get sufficient practice and with the rain and the delay she felt better singing along with a pre-recorded track.
Bull Pucky. How many times have you sung this song? How many times have you sung any song? And you couldn't do this one right for this event? If you didn't have the time to practice how come you didn't make it?
